An Open Letter to the President

Mr. President,

You are well aware of the tragic murder of four United States Marines and one United States Naval Petty Officer this week by a Kuwaiti born Muslim extremist in Tennessee. You are equally aware of other such murders by home grown terrorists who, despite their clear and obvious personal declarations of allegiance to the “Religion of Peace”, you display a reticence that is conspicuous by its absence while without hesitation drudging up thousand year old Christian offenses to humanity, many of which, the Crusades, for example, were a response to Muslim atrocities – something that somehow always gets left out of your speeches.

Your personal bias against Biblical Christianity and mocking use of out of context inappropriate belittling of the Christian Bible (in stark contrast to your devotional reverence when quoting the writings of Islam), however are not my reason for writing. I recognize that your research department lacks a certain, shall we say, objectivity, in their findings on most subjects, telling the President what they believe the President wants to hear. I am certain that the subject of disarming our troops in recruitment centers and on base has come up in your briefings.

Just so, I am certain you been have informed that this contains a “Blame Bush element to it. I have no doubt that you been made aware that on February 25, 1992, Department of Defense (DoD) Directive 5210.56, which effectively disarmed all home based Military personnel except security personnel, was signed into effect by Donald J. Atwood, deputy secretary of defense under President George H.W. Bush.

In 1998, Army Regulation 190-14, a policy implemented in 1993 that changed policy regarding carrying firearms on the Army’s military bases.  However, that policy specifically notes part of its purpose is aimed at implementing “applicable portions of Department of Defense Directive 5210.56,” Army regulation 190-14, an Army regulation, actually implements a policy put in under George H.W. Bush. Additionally, according to a DoD spokesperson, the Army regulation wouldn’t apply to other branches of the military like the Navy. (Source: Army regulation 190-14).

The issue is simple. Every President since Bush, Senior, has had the authority to rescind this order. It came across your desk in 2011. Only during your presidency, Sir, have the men and women who defend our liberties really needed the have that directive lifted because the world has so radically changed in the last six and a half years. You, sir, have shown blatant disregard for the safety of the nation whose constitution and people you swore an oath – twice – to protect and defend from ALL enemies, foreign and domestic. You do this by surrendering American Sovereignty to the United Nations, reducing the size of our military, giving aid and comfort to our enemies, providing the ability for nuclear weaponry to our greatest enemy in the Middle East while snubbing our greatest Ally, you, Sir, among all the leaders of the world refer to our enemy as ISIL, which includes our ally, Israel, while every other world leader uses the term ISIS. I remind you, Sir, it was the misguided people of the Republic of The United States of America who elected you to be their President, NOT the Muslim Brotherhood or the United Nations!

I implore you, Mr. President. Rescind this ill begotten DoD directive. Give our home based troops the same right to defend themselves from the enemies of our country that those in active theaters of battle have. Remember, Mr. President, the members of the five branches of our Armed Services swore the same oath to protect and defend that you took, and they don’t have the luxury of a wall of armed Secret Service officers standing guard over their souls, ready to take a bullet for them. A misguided DoD Directive took that from them. With episodes like two Fort Hoods, Gabby Giffords, the Washington Navy Yard, and now four dead Marines and a Sailor, ALL ON YOUR WATCH. don’t you think it’s time you used that mighty pen of yours pen for something other than bypassing Congress? Our DISarmed Services deserve better. IT'S TIME TO STOP BEING ALLAH'S BOY TOY AND DO THE JOB THE PEOPLE OF THIS GREAT NATION ELECTED YOU TO DO: PROTECT AND DEFEND THE PEOPLE AND CONSTITUTION OF THE UNITED STATES OF AMERICA, MR.. PRESIDENT, NOT THE SHEEPSKIN CONDOM TESTERS OF THE MUSLIM BROTHERHOOD!
